Hotel Karlshorst – A Favorite for Families in Berlin

Hotel Karlshorst is within a 5-minute walk of Karlshorst S-Bahn station, providing direct train connections to Alexanderplatz square, Potsdamer Platz, and the Brandenburg Gate. The hotel sits in a residential area, offering a break from city congestion while keeping major attractions reachable by public transport. Guests find a range of shops, restaurants, and an Aldi grocery store on the same street.

The hotel offers 44 rooms including Small Double Rooms, Comfort Double Rooms, and Standard Triple Rooms, some of which can be combined into suites with two bathrooms and a sitting room. Family options include baby safety gates and easily adjustable room configurations to sleep up to five guests. The rooms are soundproofed and heated, and key card access controls both the room doors and the after-hours side entrance.

Smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, CCTV in common areas and outside the property, and a safety deposit box are installed throughout the hotel. A minimarket is located on site, and the elevator serves all room floors. Free public parking is available on the side streets, and accessible parking spots are reserved for guests with disabilities.

The hotel's bar serves drinks, and a coffee house operates on the premises for morning coffee and light snacks. Room service is available, and breakfast can be delivered to the room. The Vietnamese restaurant on site provides dinner options without leaving the building.

Baby safety gates can be set up in rooms, and the hotel provides family rooms that connect to create more space. The Standard Triple Room sleeps two adults and one child on a fold-out sofa, while suites offer separate twin and double bedrooms. Luggage storage and a private check-in/check-out service help families settle in faster.
